PRE-ORDERING MEDICINE

Since 2018, our app has been known for its service quality and convenience, blending expert in-person consultation with digital pre-ordering capabilities.

With the mandatory introduction of the E-prescription on 01/01/2024, digital pre-ordering options are currently limited. This also affects our app. We anticipate fully digital redemption methods will be in place from Q2/2024, allowing you to enjoy the usual benefits.

Until then, here is how you can utilize our app:

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS

Please proactively request the E-prescription code from your doctor's office. You can obtain this code through either:

• a printed copy
• scanning the code from the practice's terminal/monitor

You can send the code to your LINDA pharmacy by using the scan function on the app.

NON-PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE AND PHARMACY PRODUCTS

To pre-order these, you may:

• Take a picture of the packaging
• Scan the product's EAN code
• Use the product search (product name or Pharmaceutical Central Number = PZN)
• As a PAYBACK customer, you can accumulate PAYBACK °Points for over-the-counter products if offered by your pharmacy.*
• You can use product photos saved in your phone's camera app for pre-orders.
• You can change your preferred LINDA pharmacy directly in the main menu under "My LINDA Pharmacy." The selected pharmacy is automatically set for future pre-orders.
• You will find information and additional services and offerings on the detail page of your chosen LINDA pharmacy.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Please note that not all LINDA pharmacies offer this app service. Each independently run pharmacy affiliated with the "LINDA Apotheken" brand makes its own decision. Therefore, you might not locate your LINDA pharmacy through the search feature.
2. Our focus is on pre-ordering regular medications and providing acute local access to prescription and non-prescription medicines and common pharmacy products. Our pre-order system is non-binding and does not constitute a legally binding purchase. The actual purchase occurs at the pharmacy or upon delivery of pre-ordered products by a pharmacy courier, if such a service is available. Hence, displaying prices for over-the-counter products in the app, as seen in conventional online purchases, is not part of our app's design.
3. Our pharmacies typically respond promptly to queries and promptly advise whether items are ready for collection/delivery or will be available at a later time*.

PHARMACY SERVICES WHEN YOU NEED THEM.

* Usually, items pre-ordered by 12:00 noon are ready for collection/delivery from 4:00 pm onwards. Please check your pharmacy's respective opening hours. Subject to wholesaler availability. Exclusions apply for medications requiring compounding at the pharmacy or necessitating individual clarification, e.g., cases requiring consultation with health insurers. In such scenarios, the pharmacy will contact you by phone.

Information on participating in and details about courier services are provided by each pharmacy. Pharmacies offering courier services are identified by a corresponding symbol.

** You earn PAYBACK points for sales of over-the-counter and restricted-access non-prescription medicines as well as standard supplementary stock available in pharmacies. PAYBACK does not receive information on specific items purchased at the pharmacy.
